Maintenance Items to be Addressed:

  • Driveshaft makes cowbell noise, either needs a rebuild or to purchase/replace with a new one

  • DCT pan seeps oil (common area to upgrade with aftermarket pan)

  • Possible “increased emissions” indicator. I had replaced the cooling components above thinking they were the cause, the code came back after a couple weeks, however after replacing the valve cover gaskets last week and clearing codes, the code HAS NOT returned, so I may have fixed the issue while I was in there.

  • Center console buttons falling off (common issue with age, $50 fix from amazon)

  • Paint could use a refresh, especially on the front bumper

  • Couple of small dents, but can be handled with PDR

  • Pass side mirror cover & pass side skirt scuffed, previous owner claimed that they happened together but said carfax reported it as 2 separate occasions, either way vehicle has a CLEAN california title with no other signs of damage

  • Drivers outer bolster showing heaving signs of aging (see photo)

  • Rear interior vents damaged (was like that when i got the car

  • Headlight wire shielding coming apart (guess its pretty common for the older M3’s) which caused the pass side angel eye to be commanded off via the Footwell Module, as a result i unplugged the drivers side as well. Both bulbs work, the Footwell Module needs to have the fault cleared after either the wires are fixed or the headlights are replaced if you don’t want to repair the wires

Mods:

  • KW HAS Adjustable lowering spring kit w/ EDC still enabled

  • Turner Motorsport Wheel Stud Kit

  • Wheel spacers x4 (Currently only using 2 in the rear)

  • LUX 180 Headlight/Angel Eye bulbs

  • (Hardly call this a mod lol) Previous owner cut the muffler off, i STILL have it and you’re welcome to take it, just know its pretty loud until then

  • Alcantara DCT boot with Gloss Black painted bezel

Discussion:

I'll attempt to be brief, I purchased this car last September 2021 from Seattle, Washington and drove it back down here to San Diego, CA. The mileage at the time of purchase was 152,842, and since bringin it home, I have replaced everything myself (I'm an ASE certified master technician) with all items I had listed above. According to a friend/BMW employee, this car was pretty much fully optioned out from what I can tell (see photos above). The reason for selling is simple, as much as i do enjoy this car, im looking to purchase my first home very soon, and at this time i don't need a project car, so now that the majority of the major maintenance/preventative maintenance is handled, it's as good a time as ever to let it go.

I'm sure I'm missing a few things but if you made it this far, thank you. I did my best to be as transparent as possible but if you have any other questions or wish to see more photos/videos, feel free to DM me.

Again the PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE. However, this price isn't a reflection of the “mods”, as we all know mods don't add value, but i'll argue day and night about a car that has serious/expensive maintenance & preventative maintenance done vs. a car that does not. Lots of known potential issues have been addressed such as the Slon Vanos Gear Covers, all new BMW fuel injectors, Rod bearings, & Throttle actuators. So please consider the amount of work you'll save yourself and then try to understand the price I'm posting the car for. If you don't like the price then thankfully you don’t have to buy it, but please leave your negative comments to yourself.

If you skipped to the bottom, ill strongly advise you to go back and read the entire post before commenting, thank you!

** Price is negotiable **

** Price is OBO **

** $23,000 for a higher mileage M3 is understandably high in today's market, so if it wasn't clear, I’m willing to work within reason on the price lol **
